See the big picture objectively from the start. See the business objective of the client from the start. Then use that information to establish a deliberate path to successful resolution in the most efficient manner possible. That is our approach at Duke Holzman.

Matt joined Duke Holzman in 2001 as a law clerk and quickly excelled to become the firm’s youngest partner in 2006 concentrating his work in construction, business/commercial and property damage disputes. Matt has extensive business, trial/arbitration and appellate experience, including cases in many different states – New York, Texas, Connecticut, Utah, South Dakota, Florida, Pennsylvania and New Jersey – for local and national clientele. Matt’s construction experience is particularly strong, including general contracting, design build, architecture/engineering, design errors/omissions, marine construction, geotechnical/subsurface, mechanical, construction materials defects, electrical, demolition/asbestos/environmental remediation, tunneling, caissons, robotics, inventory management, manufactured building systems, concrete/foundations, bonds, liens and more.

In 2016, Matt relocated to Saratoga, New York where he spent five years continuing his work on business disputes, property damage claims and large/small construction projects with a Capital District law firm.

In addition, in 2019 Matt separately established and continues to operate the dispute resolution company Construct Solutions, LLC in Saratoga, New York, where Matt offers services as a neutral third-party mediator to resolve construction, business, property damage and insurance coverage disputes throughout New York State.

Exactly 20 years after Matt first began working with Duke Holzman, in 2021 Matt reunited with Duke Holzman broadening the firm’s geographic footprint within the Capital District of New York and surrounding areas.
