Robert C. Carbone
Of Counsel
“It is important not to confuse effort with results. In my practice, I seek to be relentlessly outcome-oriented, constantly reevaluating whether there is a better approach, angle, or strategy to maximize a client’s goals. In that way, I also ensure that I am working as a reflection of my client, not the other way around.”
Bob joined our firm in May 2021 as a Senior Associate, bringing with him a wealth of knowledge and experience as an established Attorney in the Buffalo legal community.
Bob is an experienced civil trial lawyer that focuses his practice on commercial and corporate matters. His experience in commercial matters ranges from handling administrative appeals before the United States Golf Association’s Equipment Standards Committee to commercial landlord-tenant disputes in New York City. Bob also advises clients on issues pertaining to Uniform Commercial Code, corporate divorce, distressed assets and restructurings, and corporate investigations.
A substantial portion of his practice involves representation of project owners, contractors, architects, and engineers in complex matters involving construction projects, including both disputes and contract negotiations. Bob has counseled architects and contractors on a wide variety of matters including design-build and other alternative project delivery methods, insurance and bonding, and mechanic’s liens.
Bob also serves as external corporate counsel to a variety of businesses, advising on topics ranging from corporate governance, bank and equity financing, intellectual property, employee and executive incentive compensation, and mergers and acquisitions.
